When the OS detects something new, it notifies you with light displays general information about the incoming content. For example, if you receive a new email, Glowdeck, an optional hardware accessory, will display the name of the sender and the subject line. For a breaking news story on a topic you’re interested in, you will see the press source and the headline.Glowdeck’s display was designed to give you a bird’s-eye-view of incoming digital notifications. When something catches your eye, simply pick up your smartphone and the Streams app will contain a log of all your notifications from that day, in chronological order. Click on the one you’re interested in, and it will take you directly to that content. You can also dismiss Streams that you’re not interested in using the app, or directly through Glowdeck, using the Press mechanism.
